Source Audio Spectrum Inteligent Filter!!!

Do you think the sound from the 4:06 is possible with the Spectrum? I have tried yesterday but could not quite get it. Uploaded one more cool sound in the Cloud by the way. Square phaser 140 BMP. Let me know what you think!

Luckily my power supply is working again now. I have send an email to support a week ago but haven't heard anything back yet....

Spectrum owners, how do you know which preset you are in ? I dont see a display to tell you.
Do you simply have to remember the order of your presets ? Could be tricky live unless you have a piece of paper with them written down

Hello all - does anyone know if you can setup a Chorus-only patch on the Spectrum? I've found a great Phaser-only sound I dig (by editing one of the user-submitted library patches), but don't know how/if a chorus-only one is possible.

Thanks,

Jamie

I think I have one. Maybe i have put it on the cloud. Check for Bodde (my user name). If not let me know and I will try to make one for you.

Much appreciated!

I'm actually using your Phaser Only patch which modified to get a really cool deeper bass phased tone - didn't see anything under your username for a chorus. If you can make one I'd be thrilled. I know JUST enough to be able to tweak a few controls on a pre-made patch to get where I need to.

Love all the available preset spots on this pedal - I simply find a patch, save it multiple times, then modify all but one version in different ways and flip back and forth while connected to Nero on my PC - easy to find what I am looking for and then I simply delete all the "test" versions.

ok cool! Give me a few days and I will post it in the Cloud. Think I have it saved a Chorus tone in my presets then but I am not sure anymore.

Well it's your lucky day! I made a very nice chorus preset. It's in the Cloud. Let me know what you think.

Also I have a Seamoon Funk Machine pedal at home now. It's a very distinct sound which is very hard to replicate exactly in the Spectrum. The Seamoon 2 presets that I made that's in the Cloud is not bad I have to say. But it's not 100% there. It miss some off the extreme frequency spikes that the real Seamoon has. The frequencies are extremely dependend of how you attack the strings and which technique or even which bass you use. I have tried a lot but I am not sure how to get to the Spectrum to be more extreme spikey and more sensitive on playing dynamics then what I have in the Seamoon 2 preset. I am not sure if the Seamoon uses a 2 or 4 pole filter and if the envelope can best be set to snappy? I hope some others chime in and make this preset perfect. That will save me some bucks to buy the Seamoon!!! Because it's quite inspiring I must say.

@fivestringgecko @Quatschmacher ?? :)

I’m not familiar enough with the Seamoon yet as I’ve only heard clips. If I can get my hands on one then I’ll happily get to work on replicating it. I’ll do some reading around and see if I can work out what is in there. I’d suspect it will be a 2-pole filter. I don’t know of any 4-pole analogue filter pedals apart from the Moog MF-101.

Thanks Les Fret! Quickly tried it and it sounds very good - I very occasionally use chorus and like to have it available, but don't like a pedal taking up board real estate when it isn't often used. This patch will take care of any chorus jones I have and I can now sell the chorus pedal :)

I can't stress enough how much the user community and the ability to download presets influenced my decision to get a Spectrum. Best envelope sounds/usability I've experienced, AND the unexpected bonus is I no longer need a separate phaser or chorus pedal anymore!
