Source Audio suggestions thread

I think, if they were to do a pitch-shifting pedal, that rather than modelling existing ones they'd be better off just trying to make their own that did the job super-accurately- making it sound like you're actually playing a different note with the exact same tone. I think it plays to their strengths more. If anyone can do it it's them. The wheel for modes could just be different pitches and combinations of them.

If they did that AND made it polyphonic they would pretty much have an open pipeline to my wallet.

I mentioned this in the main S.A.S.S. thread at one point, but now I'm going to start making some noise about it. :D Unless there is a hardware limitation, I think that you should be able to set separate IN/OUT MIDI channels for the Hub. It would be fantastic if this were on a per preset basis (e.g., Scene 1 the expression over MIDI output is set for Channel 1 to control 3rd party pedal X, Scene 2 it's Channel 2 for 3rd party pedal Y), but I would settle for a global setting in the meantime (cf. the current system where IN and OUT must be the same).

I can't find the post now, but someone back a few weeks ago suggested that the Hub check the positions of the sensors when changing presets to match the physical settings at that moment.

After jamming live with the Hub with some buddies, I found that I craved this. I don't think it would work for everyone, but making it an option would be so killer for some (including me).
