An amp sim without a balanced xlr out is like a Reeses cup without peanut butter! (In my humble opinion.)

Perhaps not ideal for the SB2 format?
I'm pushing
hard for an octaver. I've always had at least 2 on my board for different tones.
-an 'organic', deep, analog sounding one (Aguilar Octamizer, EBS Octabass)
-the more mid-forward analog tone that borders on synthy (MXR BOD, OC-2)
-digital sounding octave that still sounds cool (EH POG)
-the unique sounding Foxrox Octron (with fuzzed analog up)
There would also be room for the POG-2 style organ sounds (btw, the POG-2 does a
GREAT slow gear cello thing that works polyphonically, allowing you to hold a note and still get swells on subsequent notes - ex here: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed])
Some backpage add-ins that allow you to add some fuzz to all octave sounds, 3 band eq, perhaps compression to the output summed signal and of course 0-100% blend control!
I wouldn't try to compete head-to-head with the new Bass Whammy, but exp pedal sweeps would be welcome as well as up/down 5th's.
You have 6 weeks, now GO!
