Also, unless the multi had about 7-8 effects loop send/return IOs, you would not be able to add other pedals in between SA effects. That is one of the main issues with the Zoom B3. Now, if your multi had those 7-8 effects loops, that you could insert anywhere you want in your SA chain, and even reorder depending on the setting you choose, now, then, you might have a great product :)

A multi would probably be a high risk little reward type of thing. I like the Hub and I'm very happy going that route. It's a very good point about adding different effects in between. I have an Epitome from EHX and it's a great pedal but it's also very limiting to add to a pedal board. If you only need those 3 effects it's great but if you want to add anything between the Micropog and the chorus or etween the chorus and the reverb you're SOOL.

Adding a tap tempo to the hub would be good I think especially if SA was to release a delay pedal. Not sure if this is possible through midi.

Modding the eq pedal for a connection to the hub would be good too.

I'm all about the synth pedal and delay pedal ideas too.

The first half of your first sentence is actually the opposite of true for some units. The Boss GT-6B and GT-10B actually have great flexibility with regard to virtual effects placement, and they also have an effects loop that can be moved anywhere in the chain. The only limitation is that it is a single effects loop.

This thread is going to entertain me for awhile, I'm sure. This is the basis for the BEST "multi-effects", patch-saving system. Any order, any number of pedals, with any number in between. Assuming all of the flavors of pedals can be executed with the the badassery of the other pedals, this won't be beaten for along time! IMHO.

I'd like a seriously long delay/looper. A delay that has variable tone controls or rather than discrete models of analog, tape, etc and a looper that has a foot switchable decay feature so that loops can evolve rather than just build up layers.
