Just picked up a Fifth Gear... This thing slays. It adds just the right amount of growl and presence to a mix to make the bass really pop without getting in the way. Overdrive is subtle until you go past 11:00 and I was really pleased to find that it doesn't boost the signal too much when you just start to drive it(considering it doesn't have a gain/master). Really nice pedal OD/Boost that drives other pedals in a fantastic way.

Signal chain is currently 5th Gear - Barbershop - Broughton Monocle (opto comp). Very tubey-sounding combination! The 5th Gear adds just the right amount of growl when I need it.

I can't wait to see what the new FG will cost. My now-broken Iso Brick may set back buying the new FG, but I can't wait to hear it.
Nice! I'll stick with mine for now as the top jacks don't work for my setup, but that does look sweet!

Yes, the next batch is yellow and probably will be for the foreseeable future with the exception of limited etched runs the plan is to continue with yellow, unless of course we could sell out a batch of a different color.
Yes, the enclosure is packed tight to get top Jacks and top power supply but there is plenty of room for standard pedal connectors. I used EBS flat and standard 6 inch connectors on my board without any issues.
