Southampton Boost!!

I LOVE boosts. I would always get more boosts.

The ones I ahve right now:

-Spaceman Saturn V
-Spaceman Mercury III
-SFX D][plomat (has two boosts, SFX Micro Boost and expanded SFX Micro EQ)
-SFX Micro EQ
-HBE Bajo MOS
-Southampton Fifth Gear
-Southampton All Things Equal
-JohnK Transboost
-Johnk F2B, can be a boost + eq

Honorable mentions:

-Broughton L+HPF, capable of a LOT of boost
-SFX Micro Red Dragon, can do OD or dirty boost
-Rusty Box can be an EQ's bopst as well

You can never have enough boosts.

Better living through boosts!

I really do need a dirty boost, don't I? But my board is now perfect, except maybe I could bag the OC-2 for the Cog T16 and create enough room for a 5th Gear. But that's like going to be over $300 for that little exchange. Too bad Cog can't move to Canada where the exchange rate is more favorable :D

You won't regret the Fifth Gear. Seriously. So inexpensive, uses up so little space, and just sounds incredible. I'm hard pressed to think of a pedal that is a better bang for buck than this one is.

I have a ton of boosts too.

On my gig board now:

Spaceman Saturn V (thickening boost)
[sfx] Micro Boost (clean boost)
Mountainking Stone 128 (low end boost)
EWS BMC (mid boost)
JohnK Trans-Boost (punchy boost)

Five boosts out of seventeen pedals on the board, and that's not counting ODs like the JohnK Orange or Spaceman Aphelion. :D

The Broughton L+HPF also could serve as a boost but I have it always on at unity gain.

All Things Equal is really sweet :D But a whole different ballgame than this. All Things Equal is dead transparent and totally clean.

Yeah, that is NOT the Fifth Gear, I don't think it could be clean under any circumstances. However, it isn't quite an OD either, it is more of a midrange OOMPH with a good dose of growl. As said above, it drives other pedals SO well.

The T-16 is great @JimmyM ! Got mine today and it is perfect!

It will give me enough room to fit the DrScientist Heisenberg I think. It might get here tomorrow!

More pedals Jimmy, always more pedals!
