Sovtek 2x15 bass cabinet ...any help?

Picked it up today for a good price. Its powerful loud and mean ....well built. I know of their guitar cabs and amps but this is the first I have ever seen a bass cab.
I Googled it but found little on them and only a little on a bass head...nothing on bass cabs. Anyone know anything bout them?

Nobody? I know googled it .....nothin! Found guitar cabs with 12s no 15 bass on single 15 pic. The guy said it came also with a Sovtek bass head a beast which sold separately. Can't find anything on them.

I know there was a local shop in the 90's that had Sovtek 4x12 guitar cabinets but I don't recall any Sovtek bass stuff in that shop. Might have been an import line in the 90's that was only around for a short while? Dunno. Might explain why you can't find much on them.

Same shop had Red Bear guitar amp heads - a Russian import involving Gibson of all companies...

Yea kind of weird. The guy said it was the first Sovtek bass rig he had ever seen. It's a tank, one loud mutha.

Quick Google search didn't turn up too much. They made a 50 watt and 100 watt tube bass amp heads, and the Sovtek branded cabinets "featured Eminence speakers from the US".

Some sites say servicing the amps can be a pain - not sure if that's still the case or even more the case now if they used tubes or components that were uncommon.

Wow you found more than me on Google. They said it was a tube amp and it killed sold for around 600.00 quickly. The cab sold for 250.00 since they could find little on it. I think for that price it's a great deal. Thanks for looking that up.

Bumped this. I can't belive nobody has seen these, played one..anything? This is TB where usually somebody knows something (or think they do) about everything bass related.

I think they sold a few 1x15 cabs in Australia which looked similar to TL606 / Mesas.

Right I did see a couple if pics online of a single 15 but this is a 2x15 big cab on casters. It's not to heavy and really roars.

New Sensor Corp, the owners of the Sovtek and Svetlana brands, Electro Harmonix, etc. Still very much in business.

Thanks I sent them an email. They show parts but no cabs etc.
