Can you imagine what happens to the long-haul airline business when he's got flocks of these babies flying? Point to point anywhere on the planet in a couple of hours.

In much the same way that air travel was prohibitively expensive for many.
Once they hit scale, the rockets should be loads cheaper for long distances. Maybe in my lifetime, if I start taking better care of myself, hehe.
Also consider that 90 minute TX to HI is "going 'round the long way"; a more direct suborbital route might be more like a 30 minute hop.
Yeah, as I understand it, the biggest chunk of the point-to-point time isn't "up and out", it's getting to / from the launch pad from the nearest city / airport / whatever. They did a really cool simulation video of the traveler's experience, I'll see if I can dig that up...

There's an Atlas 5 launch today, starting at 1:35pm. I think I read there's a 45 minute window for launch.
"A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 421 rocket will launch the fifth Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (SBIRS GEO Flight 5) missile detection and early warning satellite for the U.S. Space Force Space and Missile Systems Center. Liftoff will occur from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida."
Gotta tell you, "Space Force" still strikes me as a lame name. Almost makes me giggle with it's sheer stupidity when I say it out loud LOL.
Anyway, live coverage starts 20 minutes before launch.
