Oopsy. Eastern is correct. Usually note EDT and PDT. Getting older and attention to detail don't mix sometimes LOL.Time zones matter.
Atlas launch scrubbed for today. Will try again about same time tomorrow.

That was the coolest thing I've seen in a while. They caught it perfectly on live hidef video from the ground. Waiting for it to come back down now...
Touchdown of the space plane successful! Carrier launcher descending for landing now.

Glad you posted the Virgin Galactic flight, @bholder. I wasn't aware of it. Watched some replays morning and that whole evolution was very cool. So much going on in spaceflight these days. Liked this vid:

No matter how many times I see it, the landing's never get old.
There have been 100 successful Falcon launches, but few in the Heavy format. Why have there been so few Falcon Heavy launches?

Earlier this month we had a string of those pass through the sky up our way. It caused quite a commotion. I must be 'the space guy' among my friends since they all started texting me to ask if I saw it and what it was.
