As soon as I saw it I wondered why they don't build a silo for the booster like the cold war ICBM days... then they could just roll the starship over the top.

As soon as I saw it I wondered why they don't build a silo for the booster like the cold war ICBM days... then they could just roll the starship over the top.
I’m not very smart(Forest Gump) but the exhaust flames are going to be spectacular.
Building a silo that deep would be a well; I imagine that the water table is pretty high there.
