Can you imagine being one of the crane jockeys working on this? Or one of the welders? I can't imagine the pride they must feel in their work! Building History!
What amazes me is the precision of positioning hundreds of tons of metal that high up in the air.
And…that they can totally move it(rotate) by hand and ropes!
Shows how perfectly balanced it is. That's some serious rigging expertise going on. It'll be amazing to see it fly!
Just imagine something that large with that much precision required!
I wonder how long before they will be able to apply the heat shield as a single continuous coating?

Isn't that conviction from an alcohol/substance-abuse-related traffic accident? I don't think there was anything premeditated, not that that makes it any better.
Yeah, DUI / DWI traffic accident. Bad enough.

Having spent a good part of my nearly 40 years in the tech industry being forced to do exactly that, I have to say: Elon speaks the Truth.
The interviewer steps on his thoughts every so often. Elon seems annoyed at times.

Tim's a smart guy, but yeah, to keep up with Elon in full-on streaming mode, that's got to be pretty tough. "Like taking a sip of water from a fire hose", is how I've heard it put. Amazing how he can dive right into the crux of the engineering details for just about anything.
