SpaceX: Out-of-control rocket could crash into the moon
The Falcon 9 booster was originally launched from Florida in February 2015 as part of an un-crewed mission to send a weather satellite into space.
However, the million-mile journey saw the four tonne rocket run out of fuel and it has been drifting ever since.
Space observers have predicted that the rocket will hit the far side of the moon, near the
equator, on 4 March.

Interesing. But as the article said, "Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist at Harvard University, tweeted that the impact is "interesting" but ultimately "not a big deal". To which I say... Not a big deal unless the Falcon 9 crashes on the Chinese rover and equipment that's on the south pole/far side.
Doesn't the article state impact is "predicted to be near the equator?" Rocket Science is pretty much pinpoint accurate these days. I'm not too worried about the rover.

The telescope and scientific instruments started to cool rapidly in the shade of the sunshield once it was deployed, but it will take several weeks for them to cool all the way down to stable operational temperatures. This cooldown will be carefully controlled with strategically-placed electric heater strips. The remaining five months of commissioning will be all about aligning the optics and calibrating the scientific instruments.
SpaceX launch rescheduled for today, Friday, Jan. 28, at 6:11 p.m. EST.
