I've been gone, and I'm back checking in.
I'll offer this up re:SLS. I'm generally not a fan, but I did follow along - rooting for the best.
Looks like there was some nice success.
My first thought after the launch was - where is the hi res video? But, soon after, we got some, and overall, we Did get some great shots of the moon and the earth.
If they were in any way being SpaceX like and had SLS2 not so far behind, I could jump in as a semi advocate.
And yet, the current plan, and the build rate, is absolutely ridiculous.
Long live SpaceX.
If we had built an Initial return plan using derivatives of Falcon and Dragon, we'd be back already.
