SpaceX and other space stuff

They milked some interesting science (what little they actually showed) for all the NASA PR they could. I'd be happy to be wrong, but I'm thinking this turns out to be non-life or at best ambiguous.
Sure. Always is. The point is, this round is quite a bit less ambiguous. But yeah. Hard to find a smoking gun this late in the game...

Getting samples back to Earth for more thorough analysis has to be the priority. They ultimately need to find DNA and proteins, or other macromolecules that can work like they do, to really be sure.

From our flight on September 4th, the Space X reusable first stage rocket being towed to Long Beach Harbor on its landing barge. The launch was two days earlier from Vandenberg in Central California. The landing barge was positioned off Mexico for the first stage to re-land on. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time to snap this photo.

World’s largets rocket plant is in amabalA? Seems kinda ironic, but I guess you’d need to live here to fully appreciate just how unlikely this is. As much as I understand why space force HQ went to Colorado, having critical decision makers within walking distance of the bleeding edge of rocket engine development will (hopefully) streamline the process. Provided of course the latest promise of the shift to bamie holds long enough for it to happen.
Anywho, to my fellow rocket geeks, enjoy. :smug:
