Nowadays, syciprider runs around without a leash, threads on pedal order and "best bass distortion" are at an an all-time high, TaySte is the #1 cause of GAS, and I somehow acquired guru status when I don't even know that much about effects.

One more comment buddy, remember that in this country, even in Louisiana (in case you folks don't know, law in LA is not based on the English Common Law it is in the other 49 states, it's based on Napoleanic Code! ), you are INNOCENT until proven, BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT, to be guilty.
Do not let the DA rattle you, you know the truth, just stick to it brother.
And if they won't let you use a psych eval in your defense, there is something totally and utterly screwed up (not that it would be any surprise in Lousy-ana
) about the justice system in East Baton Rouge Parish, you be ready to run at the State Supreme Court and if that doesn't work, go up from there.
Do not let them railroad you, or deny you any reasonable form of legal defense - and if she is mentally unstable, it is absolutely a reasonable legal defense to expect her to be evaluated by either YOUR or a neutral expert.

Wanted to share the story with you!
"One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.""

So when is the court date? Do you have one? I think you've mentioned it, but I couldn't find it
Yeah, keep in there buddy! Sound like that dude that's together with your ex is a real nasty piece of work. You did the right thing there not letting them provoke you, I myself should have done that one time and an other, instead of being stupid, and I can tell you that you did the right thing, nothing good ever comes from letting people harass you into doing something that you'll regret.
