Speaker Buzzing

Playing my bass I will have 1-2 speakers that "buzz" when I play certain notes on my bass.

Well I've used the search bar and the responses I saw were as follows...
-Screws on the speakers are loose or not tightened all the way
-The voice coil is rubbing
-Too much power is going into the cab and/or clipping is occuring
-Fret buzz
-Loose speaker wire hitting the back of the speaker

None of these are the problem to my knowledge as I have checked them out.
-I only have the volume about 1/4 of the way up, it buzzes at all voumes
-My bass doesn't have fret buzz
-There is no voice coil rubbing, they're fine
-The speaker wire are not hitting the speakers, I pulled them out and checked
-The screws are tightened down

So what else could it be?

Did you try it in another amp to see if the same thing occurs. I had this problem on my P-bass about six months ago and the remedy was, believe it or not, tightening down on the one pickup. Cured it instantly.

No I haven't tried a different amp, could that be the problem? I mean as soon as I have access to another amp I will.

My pick-ups seem to be fine, it does it whether or not I have both full up or either the bridge or neck p-up singled out.

I know I need a new cab in general, one that I did not build... but I would still like it to work because I can use it at practices.

If you rule out the amp and bass that only leaves the cab. Flawed construction and inadequate bracing would both explain resonance problems. There's nothing wrong with a DIY cab, they can be built to standards far better than those of commercial cabs, the operative word being 'can'.
