Speaker cabinet badge fell off

I have a speaker cab where the badge in the middle of the cab fell off (most likely due to heat while we were on the road this summer). There's a ton of residual glue on the grill cloth where the badge was. I was wondering if anyone knows:

a) How to get the old glue off without damaging the grill cloth
b) What is the best glue/adhesive to use to put the badge back on so (hopefully) it won't fall off again.

Goof-off to remove old glue, Possibly an automotive adhesive to put it back on

To hell with removing/cleaning old glue, just heat it up, add some more hot glue and stick it back on. That's all they did in the first place, it's not a refined process or anything.

^ This. Rough up the back of the badge with some sandpaper, or something, if it is really smooth and shiney. That will help the glue bond.

If it had double-sided tape on it you can usually work the glue off with your finger. It will roll up, more or less.

It's definitely not double sided tape. There's about a 1/4 inch thick slab of glue where the badge used to be

Which is already a nice flat surface to glue the badge back on to (better than grill cloth).

A drop or two of crazy glue, and your good to go.

A) acetone

B) who cares? Unless it's a B15 , put it in a plastic sandwich bag in your junk drawer in your kitchen and forget about it. I am of course assuming you are not a paid endorser of said amp.

Now that I think about it, if it was a b15, the badge is on the tolex and acetone would melt it.

To put it back on, “Goop”, comes in a tube, get it in any hardware store.
