Speaker suggestions

I have a TC Electronic RS 210 cabinet that I was thinking of changing the speakers on. I don't know how it happened but 1 of the speakers has a tear in it. I don't abuse them at all and rarely have the volume up more than 3 or 4 at any given time with low gain setting so I'm sure I didn't abuse them. Anyway, they are paper speakers and I was thinking of changing them to Aluminum speakers ala Hartke. Any thoughts on what I should be looking at as far as speakers go? I've never done this before and I'm kind of a novice when it comes to these things.

The TC Cabinets are 8 ohm speakers
  • Dual Concentric Tweeter (33 mm aluminum coil Eminence driver)
    • Eminence custom US drivers

Can you post pics of them? I'm curious to see the tear, as well as the type of drivers they use.

But, the enclosure is designed and tuned for those drivers so getting exact replacements is usually the best way to go. I definitely wouldn't recommend using aluminum cone drivers.

If they are USA Eminence, you can contact Eminence with the information from the drivers and they may recommend something that would work good.
