Speaking of which, where’s @SamanthaCay ?
Sorry for my absence, I've been pretty antisocial lately and haven't felt like posting much. These are some pretty messed up and uncertain times. It's hard for me to deal with and i haven't felt much like talking outside of my wife and close friends. I'm still building stuff and am ok for the time being, just keeping to myself atm.

Thanks for the update, and certainly can respect that. It’s just that I look forward to more of your kind of spontaneous wackiness! Whenever you’re back in the mood.

Buildoff Stats update

So here's what we have

51 - Entries
37 - Active (meaning builder has completed build or has posted in the last 2 weeks)
9 - Complete

Of the Active/Complete entries
9 - Finish a stalled build
16 - new Builds
12 - Parts builds

Looks like we're staying pretty steady on the "Active" builds. It will be fun to watch if that number really jumps at the finish line.

I think somebody likes playing with data.

Who?
Mwah? (Oh wait, that means something else here)
Me?

Of the 14 that are inactive, there may be one or two that get into the voting, but the others I sense will not make it.
One of the entries that won't make it is one of mine.

I have to say, being involved with this build off has been an inspiring experience. I've been a bass player for 30+ years and a hobby woodworker for around 18. I always though building stringed instruments from scratch was some mystical power that only a very special few possessed. You guys have confirmed my suspicions! I never considered that I could actually build one myself. But you guys have done such a great job of documenting and explaining the process I think I could do it. I'm now itching to dive in and build a bass from my stockpile of woods. Thanks to all of you for sharing your projects!
