My deep psychological problems were clearly at work here. Even after reading @Chris Todd 's post, I still didn't get it. My 12 year old pointed it out to me in like 3 seconds, and she's not even a fan of P basses...I did mention I was embarrassed, right?![]()

You can bet your boots I check the maple every time I walk through there. I grab anything with perfectly straight grain parallel to an edge too.![]()
