I like the satin with beveled edges - I've done both with hard bevels, and gloss just doesn't define the beveled edge the same way as satin or matte.

It's hard to get an invisible fill on maple with CA since it tends to darken the sawdust as it wets it out. Mixing dust with wood glue or plain white glue sometimes works better on lighter colored woods.

Could it possibly be because that bit of magnet wire is supposed to be connected to that bit of hookup wire, instead of floating in midair?![]()
