I'm amazed you could put it down long enough to take those. Lol
AJ from Dickhead designs does an awesome job! I've ordered 4 brass nuts from him. He also has other materials besides brass available if you prefer something different. AJ will ask you for certain specs and he has a manufactures guide book that gives the stock specs, but let him know of the trouble that you're having and he'll make the adjustments on the nut.
A person from another thread on TB also recommends to use a Dremel stone by hand, not on the drill,
to lightly grind down each slot of the nut that's on your bass. They're less expensive than buying files. I've price them out before.Good luck!

Still checking in on you guys from time to time.
I haven't forgotten about the TB Limited Edition Spector's for you guys. I have been working with PJ this week trying to work out some details and costs. PJ has been talking with Stuart and we are all trying to come to an agreement on what they will do exactly and what the cost's will be. I had to send a revision back to them today. Hopefully in the next week or so I can have a couple of options for you guys to pick from and what the cost's will run. Sorry it's taken so long, just don't want to promise something that we can't deliver.

So I found a great score on a NS 2H5 USA bolt-on and would love to join the club
Quick question to anyone else who has one of these, or something similar where the bass is subject to neck dives - what can I do to counter those neck dives? I'm guessing the bridge is aluminum, so could I replace it with a brass one to at least add a little more weigh? to the body?
So far, I've only had for about a day, and it takes a little get used to the tone (I'm used to my Pedulla's, both sound and feel), but it seems to be very articulate in the mids (maybe from about 500-800hz) than from what I remember of my Spector Euros I used to own; I guess the difference comes from, at least in part, from the different body woods (and their mass) along with the bolt-on vs neck through.
I'm in the process of retracking my band's CD and I think this bass is going to find its way into a couple of those tracks

Beautiful! Welcome to the club! No clue on the neck dive issue, but the other members on here are all extremely knowledgable. They should be able to help you out.
On a side note, I'm taking my legend out for another open mic tonight. Should be fun. I'll try to get a friend to shoot a video or two for you guys

Welcome. I've got an USA bolt on as well, and it's one of my favorite basses.
Regarding neck dive, I would start with a wider, thicker strap first before I started modifying the bass. The bridge is already pretty heavy
