Awesome worshiprocker!!! :hyper:
I'm sure you'll let us all know when it comes available for purchase!
Who's your sponsor?

Thats what I'm talking about!!!....NICE!! :bassist:
That's awesome dude!!! Congrats!!

Congrats worshiprocker!

Awesome!!!!!!

Thanks guys.... Our sponsor is the owner of the place our guitarist works... In the early 80s he toured playing guitar and now he owns a multi-million dollar aeronautical engineering company (among other things). He heard our songs and offered to pay for the demo (with a phenomenal producer) and now is offering to pay for the whole album. This guy doesn't know how to fail, so its cool to have someone like that believe in us. And the dude can play guitar! always fun jamming at his house.

He has been around and knows some people in the industry so hopefully we will get to tour to support our record too :bassist:

Testing out a new bass tone here!!!!
I'm going for more of a Tool-ish vibe with this track. Its just part of the track and no guitars, but i really aiming to get a good growl on this track. This one is just one track of bass using my Axe Fx and nothing else. Ampeg SVT model with 8x10 cab. I think i used a 421 mic on the 8x10 IIRC. Anyways, let me know what you think. The playing could be tighter, but its a start to an idea. Feedback is always welcome! :)

man that sounds great! I like the delay on there too

I used my Euro 4LX with TP preamp on this one. Everything was up full. I could probably EQ a bit more and bring out the growl a bit. This was thrown together really quick. :)
I like to record with a pick (for this style music) as it cuts quite a bit more than with my fingers. Live though, i don't ever use a pick. Just my preference though. :)

Lots of thanks to everyone who listened and commented :)

I have my solo project (D20) that this will most likely be apart of. I want to post another song to get some feedback if that is cool with everyone? This song has an extremely rough mix though. I'm going to end up retracking everything for it, but the structure of the song will most likely be very similar though.

Do you guys care if i post one more?

Please post more!! :bassist:

Ok...this is an extremely rough mix! The bass tones will be different most likely as well. This will be one of the songs on my D20 project's album when it is finished. There are a few parts i haven't tracked bass for yet as well. Hope it comes across ok though. :)

Very Nice! Just saw Tool on Sunday night , they rock. Justin has the most "Spector" tone with out a Spector...

They were great, Justin cut off all his hair, Played his Wal's through (I think) Mesa stuff, (and of coarse tons of pedals) hard to see clearly from where I was. Great show, great tone.

It always strikes me funny when I see them that he will get down on his knees and adjust his pedals during the show...

DAAAAAAAAAAMNNNN!!!!! Lucky you!!! :D:D
Yep, WAL is probably the only other bass I'd consider buying besides Spector and I agree, it's VERY close to the Spector tone.
I love all his pedals and how he works them, especially when he changes things mid-show. The dude is probably, in his genre the most creative bassist I've heard!

Have you seen this?

Thanks everyone again for the feedback!!!

Yup Justin is FREAKIN awesome! Love his style! Wish i could see them again!

I was just about to post the youtube vid seventh did. Crazy huge pedal board!!!!!!!!

You have a good vast array of pedals on your board. I like what you have on there. I don't get to use them a whole lot, but i really like using a wah and whammy effect with bass when i can. I have a few songs that i am working it into at the moment. I'm revamping my pedalboard currently, but mine is something like this:

Spector Euro 4LX>Line 6 X2 wireless>Korg Pitchblack tuner>Boss ODB-3>Boss PS-3 w/expression pedal(just bought and can't wait to use!)>soon to have Boss CE-5>EHX Bassballs>Dunlop 105q Bass Wah> MXR M-80>ISP Decimator>soon to purchase Ampeg SVT 4 Pro>soon to purchase SVT 810E :D

I also have a Sansamp i use for recording, and a Boss Limiter/Enhancer that i may put back on my board as well. I've sold quite a bit and i am selling a few at the moment as well.

Hey Seventh,
Where did you get that light from as well? Looks awesome! Do you have a Pedal Power or are you running a powerstrip behind your board?
