Dude....It's ALWAYS pedal time! I always say, Bass sounds good as is, indeed. But with pedals at the right moment....just so much more UMMF! :bassist:

I know nothing about pedals. Never even used one. Where should one start if they wanted to start learning.

Came home early from work because my wife called and said it was here. My new Spector Euro 5LX in Poplar Burl.

I love this thing! After I get it set up with a new set of DR High Beams I think this'll be my new main bass. Can't believe I waited this long to get a Spector! I like the case too. Nice tight fit.

I'll get some real glamor shots when I have the time.

Oh man. Freaking beautiful.

My first pedal was an MXR M-80. Depends on what you want to do really. I wanted it because of the DI and it gave me some dirt as it has a distortion blend channel.
I purchased my assembly of pedals pretty quickly though...Within a few months I was at 4 pedals...I'd still want to try out more.
I'm waiting to see BassGaint's pedal rig so I can get some ideas!

I got my Project NS-2A today. It missed the morning delivery truck this morning so crazy me went to the main post office to pick it up.

I installed active EMG PUPs with the Haz copy and it sounds really growly (I will post clips later)

The Frets are not as bad I thought they would be.

The only negative for this whole thing is now I dont know if I want to de-fret it. :hiding:

If I didn't need another Spector 5 so bad I would have hung onto it. It played fine despite the fretwear but I know if I tried selling it for a higher price I would have caught hell for their (the frets') appearance so I let it go for mad cheap. Looks great with the brass nut. Play it in outstanding health, Sam. Enjoy! :bassist:

What a beaut Man congrats. Red EMG lettering? Does that mean it has the push/pull single coil option?
Take Care,
Brent

Congratulations!!!!! Wow!!!
Good Wife to call you at work!

hey lima , not trying to be a poo poo head , but do you think that bass has been repainted ? the masking line around the end of the fret board looks a little off to me . none the less i really like it and kick myself for not buying it last time it was up . if id seen it before you bought it , it would be in alabama . always wanted a black ns2a . guess my cherry burst will have to suffice for a while longer .
