Not wrong at all , isn't this what this thread is partly for? A Spector support group?

The day I laid my hands on my NS-4 was the day I was like "Oh, it's like that?" and started planning my next Spector.

Your family, friends may not support you (Your Spector addiction has effected us in the following ways....)

it's always time for a fretless!! My next Spector will be a US BO fretless with jazz pickups and eventually an epoxied fretboard

...unfortunately it will be a while as I need to invest in a classic looking 5 string first...

No doubt. I had my eye on that one but just couldn't get past the tiny amount of feedback the seller had. That's an awful lot of coin to be sending 1/2 way around the world. (I do hope that it pans out and gets into another Spector-lover's hands...)

Totally eyeing a Euro with my tax return dollars and it hasn't even been 2 months since the NS20005.

I wish the basses I don't play much anymore were actually desirable to anyone, I can't get a sale on any of the 4 I'm selling to free up space for Spectors!

I couldn't agree with you more...I got stung on a brand new still in the box Euro 5LX for $950.00 once from an eBay'r that had 9 transactions. It was gorgeous man!

So I'm crazy. I had to do it! It was too much of a steal NOT TO DO IT. Spector # 3 for me! Goodbye tax return money.

I just bought a Euro 4XL off ebay for a stupid price. I feel a little bad for the seller that noone bid after me, I got it for under $800.

Can't really tell the color from the pics, looks to be some kind of dark blue burst, kinda purplish maybe. Not sure about the gold hardware but as I said, I could not resist the call of this deal, I shouldn't have even been on ebay.

Coming all the way from the west coast to the east coast, so probably a week and a half from now I'll get it.

Dude, I was totally not ready, and I shouldn't have done it, if it weren't for a recent tax return I most likely would have been able to resist the urge!

thats my problem right now. we're getting back some $ for income tax returns except we have tons of bills to pay! ive been saving a little here and there and am almost tempted to see if i can get a good trade deal for mine for another one i found somewhere. but i think i wont get jack for it and if i sell it outright, i only have 1 bass to play that is not mine. so i will save for a while longer and maybe see what i can get.
