first Spector. Instantly became my go-to bass after a lot of research. Legend 4 Classic. Saving for the 5 string and 6 string versions of this bass too... Just can't get over how great they are!

It is a last resort for sure! I have a few other things I intend to post up first!

I'm willing to sell everything except my Forte and my old crappy peavey 1x10 practice amp to make that happen!

I just know that the Forte will be a quick sale...atleast faster than the other items I have!

A Spector NS-5HJJEX Redwood top, black hardware, Two jazz pickups (maybe J/MM), OBP-3 and the neck profile of Alex Webster's Signature model.

I just need to sell a few things to get it rolling...unfortunately, my Forte might be on that list...

I know at least 4 NS-2A basses that had the J and P pickup connectors switched in the control cavity. Seems like a common occurrence. I thought it was just me. And yeah, the velcro suggests Japanese Haz copy.

Lol, no such thing....

The emg BT pre, is probably the least liked pre, but its still decent. It doesn't really have the Spector growl, but still sounds good.

Most of the HAZ copies still sound good. The EMG BT is different....I have one in my JAR...

Kind of, yeah! My Les Paul is wired that way.

I used EMG BTs for years in my old Guild Pilots. I found the bass boost to be more natural sounding than some others. I really like the treble control on my HAZ copy though.

I had the 18V EMG BT-whatever on my ex-NS5CRFM. Dat was one hot preamp!!

If I have to compare the sound of this bass to, let's say, any of yours......its somewhere between your black "mystery" bass and blue Kramer era with the haz

Their all great basses reguardless of the series.

The haz wasn't stock in those basses so someone swapped the emg pre out somewhere along the line. Good deal.

I'm going to be ordering another bass from pj soon, and was wondering where I could pickup another haz pre. Also, where can I get those crown "inlay" decals from that actually look like the ones on the new euro's or ns-2s? Not the cheaper ones on the bay right now

You can get a Haz from Spector. We all use the creative cut inlay decals from ebay.. just tell them you want a single decal for the 12th fret.

The one I just sold was reversed too. So 5 now.
