Been absent from here for a while... My wife broke her ankle last Saturday and I've been taking care of her all day every day and so I've been pretty exhausted with work and coordinating people to be around here during the times I am away. :hmm:
The "Doctors" wanted to do surgery but we decided not to go for it as she is very strong and healthy and she's already showing signs of progress. Bloody Orthopedic Doctors, they just ache to slice you open! :D

Cheers everyone...Trying to catch up with all the posts! :D

Check this out... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...jjnvfD2Zhps%3D&viewitem=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Looks like a Kramer era white USA NS-2 sold for a BIN of $500 + $20.90 for shipping.

Look closely... it has the correct gold hardware, USA bridge, crown inlays, and the "fat" truss rod cover.

It sold within 16 minutes of being posted up on Friday night.

What was I doing at 7:46pm Friday night?

I was NOT getting a amazing deal on a NS-2!

OMG!!! I really need to cruise evil bay more often. :ninja: That was a steal!!!

I'm the proud, new owner of a Spector Alex Webster signature model. WITH blood spatter paint job, TYVM.
Many thanks to YNOT for helping me wrangle an even better deal. I saved over $800 vs. most places, and over $1800 vs. the "retail price" of $3999.99.
Now, then...I'll be posting my Euro5 for sale in the classifieds in a few. Beautiful maple finish w/maple wings, Aguilar OBP-1 w/EMG DC 40s, S/N NB1275, made around 2002. Not a scratch!
Anyone that contacts me from this thread will get priority!!! :D

Congratulations!!! That's an awesome bass!

hope all goes well buddy!

Need new pics , but I still like this one :)

I've always dug your avatar & wondered what a big pic of that bass would look like - that is a great looking Spector, and one of the nicest tops I've ever seen on a Euro!
Before I ordered my USA NS4 from BC a few days ago, I was seriously considering the green Wimbish Euro they have in stock, but yours, with its gold hardware & killer quilt, really is something special.

SAS - will it never end? I haven't even recieved my blue NS4 & I'm already eyeballing the redwood-topped NS4 at BC....
