Man, I am so glad I missed that blue NS-2I just got a new credit card for "emergency purposes" and I am afraid that if I saw that pop up, it may have been a huge internal struggle for me since I would consider that an emergency

Long time player, first time Spector owner. I don't know how I've gone this long without one! Acquired this in a trade here on the TB classifieds. I hear this is the club to join, could I get a number?
My Euro 5LX /w Poplar Burl top.

Here are some shots of the new (used) ARC6. I am really surprised with the build quality. I may replace the tuners with a better set and dig around in the parts bin for some nice knobs. But otherwise, this is about the best lower-end guitar I've procured in a long time. For $212/shipped from GC, my son's going to be stoked.

So, a little review on the ReBop...
I'll drop a P5 and DC in the neck/bridge spots respectively and see if that helps. I will say too, I know Patrick and others speak to this all the time, but I've "figured out" the TP preamp, I think lol! Obviously I'll still need time to adjust "on the fly" like I can w/ the Haz controls, but I'm getting there. It's kind of hard to think of the controls as a "rolloff" vs just an "up/down" control like we're used to, but yeah it's not too bad. It's definitely cleaner than what I'm used to, which I'm not sure if I dig or not. I love the grunt of my NS-5 but a pickup change would definitely help solve that.
So, anyway, I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and order my CK strings and get it all set up to my liking and go from there. Again, it's a great bass but I'm looking to "retire" my NS-5 for some obvious reasons, and I'm not sure if this is a 110% adequate replacement, just yet...
