Here are some pix of my 2 Euro preamps. The white Euro I bought about 5 years ago, and I believe it has the non-adjustable TonePump - it's serial # can be seen in the photo.
The plum Euro (CR4FM?) I bought a few weeks ago, and the serial # appears to be 3D4D.
Please take a look & see if you can identify which Preamps I have & what years the 2 Euros are.
Interestingly, the White Euro has the highest output level, followed by the plum Euro, and my USA NS4 with it's 18v electronics has the lowest volume output of the three...
Your NS4CRFM has the EMG pre in it. Most of them came with them.

That white one looks like it definitely has the non trim pot tonepump which would explain why it has the highest output level. I have of those in my Rebop and it is the same way so I am going to swap it out with one that has the trim pot.
Your NS-4 has the same 18V circuit I have in my NS-5XL so just as a reference, I had to adjust the tonempump in my Euro 5LX to 30% to get it around the same output level as the NS-5. That just shows how high the output is on those tonepumps so the adjustable ones are really good to have if you want to keep all your basses at a similar output level.
Sam (Limaguy) will definitely have to answer about your CR4FM though since he is much better at the pre's than I am. I am just his apprentice when it comes to a bunch of these things but he will know what it is just by looking at it

The White does look like the non-trim tonepump and the NS4CRFM is the EMG BT.
Is your white Euro much louder then the rest?
Speaking of pres... I took possession of Eric's Euro 4 on Friday (and less than 24 hours later, I was using it on a gig at Soldier Field. Looked damn cool on the jumbotron! ) Great bass! Exceeded my expectations for sure, but I'm not totally sold on the non-trim Tonepump. The bass sounds great, but the output is just too hot on this thing. I'm thinking of going with a BT since I have a lot of good experience with those in other basses, but may go with a new trim pot Tonepump. The 9V system would be nice, but that thing costs more than I paid for my entire NS-2A! Decisions decisions...

IMHO, I'd go with the BT as a replacement over the trim TP, if I had the option. I've had that in prior NSx-CRFM's, and just enjoy the tone and control and level, etc.. It's a good match to me.

its a more refined growl... it tightens up the low end a bit.... 18v gives it more headroom.
