I've never played a real 9v HAZ (I have the 18v pre in my USA NS4, but are they still called HAZ?), and I don't know whether I should install a 9v HAZ in my CRFM, or save a little longer & just buy a second USA Spector - an NS-2.

that is a dilemma! I'd say save and get an NS-2! Ya can't go wrong with anything out of the NY shop!

Man, that white NS-2JAR in the classifieds looks gorgeous!

Sadly I'm generally not a single coil guy on bass, short of really massive hot and fat overwound passives. EMG BT preamp is a bit "clean" too.
But MAN that is one nice looking bass!
