This one comes down to personal preference I think. I had the MXR M-80 and really couldn't find the tone I wanted to I bought the Sansamp RBI and could not be happier. The one thing the RBI has over the BDDI is the separate mid control but the price is definitely higher and you can't go wrong with the BDDI.
That being said, there are some that are huge fans of the M-80 and like them over the Sansamp so i would recommend you try both out if you can.
Wow. I've never seen so much brown in a black bass. That's beautiful.Gabriel51 said:Here it is after a through cleaning, I smudged it a little moving it around (as you can see). Hey guys. I know delucajohn2000 has posted this in the past, but thought you might like to hear some feedback on the Jammit app. I downloaded all of the Pantera VDOP, including Piss, and it was one of the best music training related investments I've made in a long time. You can isolate Rex's bass and be blown away by the tone and brilliance of his playing and mix in the band at a level of your choice. It gives you tab or notation with a line showing exactly where you should be at all times. You can even mix out the bass and jam along. Incredible! I played more with a pick last night than I have in years.
The best part is Queensryche is coming soon. The entire Empire record. Interesting that the only two complete records they will have are Pantera and Queensryche. Apparently we are not the only Spector tone crazed people on the planet.![]()
That is the great thing about the app....being able to actually mute the bass. I do that with a lot of the "non-Spector" tracks to hear how much better the master could have sounded.
That's awesome. Just listening to the samples gave me the chills. I'm curious though, how did the smadder setup sit in the mix for you?

What year is that?

GangstaBean said:These are the results of my CRFM Refinish from gloss to satin. I sanded down the bass to make it rough, then sprayed Colortone Aerosol Satin over it. I did about 4 coats on body and 5 on back of neck with one can.

I never said the legend was bad. I said the others were better. To me, the curved body alone is worth the price of admission. I had a legend. There are a few pics of it on my fb page. I bought another as a project, then sold the first one. Counting the zebop that is due at my house today, I have five and a half spectors. Obsessed? Not me. . . .
There is an NS2000/5 listed on the guitar center site too. Pretty blue one. Funny, it is listed as a BOB, which is not only more of a jazz bass shape, but stands for BOLT ON BASS. The pic clearly shows it is a neck thru.
Yeah, priced at 799, worth maybe 450. My last 2000/5 I got on ebay, $425, shipped, with a hard case. That bass has since been upgraded to 40DC and BQC. I will post family pics one of these days.
If anyone is interested... My band is performing tonight and it looks like there will be a live video stream (or at least Audio) of our show.

WOW! That Rebop looks amazing!
Looks just like mine, except for the figuring on the back. That doesn't look like the standard alder backs. Very nice.

It actually sits in real nice. I'm not used to playing along with people and typically i'm playing over other peoples lines. There were a few times while jamming Pantera lines where I would hit a bad note and stop playing, and suddenly there was no bass. I was like, wow, I was actually playing along... And it sounded good! Considering I'm playing straight thru the Markbass micro with no effects, it sounded really good. I'll need to get a pedal of some type to get closer.
