He's got a great feedback profile and I talked to him as well so I know he's genuinely trying to come through. He seems like a great guy and this is a dream bass for him and it would be great to compromise and make that happen for him, so I'm compromising. Plus, I really, really need the funds? I'm just gonna be patient and hope that it all works out in a few days. If not, the worst will be relisting and waiting again.

I spoke with their tech support before installing them and they run so broad and high that you are t supposed to use more than 9v with them. They still have the hi fi sound of EMGs but a little less compression and more openness. Almost like passive pickups, you can hear more of the wood. They run hot but sound fantastic. A set of pjx's in a Spector really opens up the tone and almost makes it sound more "Spectorish."

Thanks! Those are all good things, even the 9 volt (I don't think I can fit an other battery in my cavity because of the push/pull pots). Been thinking about getting a set of TW Xs for my bass. But didn't know if the are worth the 220 for the set. I love the tone of my bass. Maybe down the road when I "think" I need a new sound.

Ya I heard one the GK guys say to try boosting the boost all the way. On my 700rb I run the boost a little lower, but not much. The only thing is it really shines through if you mess up. Hah

Congrats to Seventhframe who just completed the transaction for this Brooklyn Era NS-2 which is currently residing at the Lima Pad.
The Seller who was local to me agreed to leave it at my location as I told him I had a prospective buyer for it who resided in Canada.

The bass is in amazing condition. It spent most of its time in the case since 1986 when it was purchased by a Doctor who played it minimally over the past 26 years.

The photos do no justice it looks even better in person.

As you notice in the last photo the neck on this bass is rather beefy. It feels about the same thickness as my Forte but has a C shape instead of the D shape which the Forte has. It is noticeably thicker then my Kramer NS-2.

I keep secretly hoping that I have an NS-2 since everything on it is USA hardware, inlays, Haz...but I'm guessing it probably isn't.

Not sure which bass you have but two 9 volts fit in my Euro5LX-TW cavity.
