It's the state of the economy Brent...I've never had a listing more than 1-2 weeks but my SVT 810 has been listed for a month. :ninja::scowl:
I went on the classifies last night and gave every brother here's bump. It worked as I'd seen their basses were on page 1! Good luck selling your drums Brent!

But, there is a forte 4 in my future that I'm trading for the Forte 5 I got from one of GCs "mistake" sales, so I can't complain much. But one day and NS-2 or 4 would be really, really cool... one day.

If it were me, and I were you, I'd just get the USA 9v circuit and be happy. If you have the satin-finished bridge, that's all brass (from what I know - someone will snag it if I'm wrong). Granted it doesn't have quite the mass of the US bridges, but it's the same material so you're close. Body -wise you're close, fretboard wise you're close. I think with a US circuit you'd be really happy (and If I had one of the earlier all maple Euro's that's exactly what I'd do and be pleased as hell about it).

That is what I just did....swapped the EMG BT in my red CRFM with the US 9v that came in my JAR. They are ready and hopefully I can pick them up today or tomorrow. Word of warning though: Spector website says the holes for the pots on Euro LXs may need to be widened to fit the new shafts...my tech told me that for my CRFM that was an understatement. I will post pix when I have the basses back. My white JAR will be up for sale this week....

Do you have the CRFM 4's? If so...go with the putting in the USA 9V circuit as Smadder suggested. It has been talked about here a lot the difference between the early USA built vs. early Euro built and the main conclusions are that the USA Spectors have higher quality maple, AAAA/AAAAA plus the solid brass bridge which is larger and craftsmanship in the building of the bass. But even JPS and others that have been play guitars for a very long time say, it'd be very very tough and doubtful if the average ears would pickup the slight differences in tones. I had started out buying Korean and Euro Spectors. Very good basses! Matter of factly, Mr. Bassie has me so intrigued with the early CRFM oil finished Euros that in the near future ill be looking at one that needs refurbished and I'll be doing that. I'm thinking my first refurb staining it green then oil seal it! All these green Euros in our club have me green envy! Haha! Going on to my point...I was so curious what the "Hype" and the "Extra $$$" that the USA Spector was all about. So I sold all the Spectors that I had except my first one, Legend 4, which I ended up selling to finance my Forte 5, but my first USA Spector was a Forte 4. From the first time I picked up the Forte 4, I knew the difference right then and there! The balance, the craftsmanship and the tone were amazing! Everyone should experience it! I know that's not helping you at all!lol you owe it to yourself to experience the USA Spector once!

Zoom, what did you think of your JAR with the US 9v in it? I have a white one and have EMG X-series J's and the smadder set up of the BTC system and the EXB circuit. It's a perfect fit for this bass (as that combo works well on every Jazz-type configuration I've ever tried) but I'm curious how the 9v sounded in the JAR.

Drums? Huh? Did I miss something?
Nah I pulled the listing. I'll just keep her. It really is a fantastic instrument. I usually play passive instruments which is why I think I'm having a hard time bonding with it. I can't stop fiddling with it!:hyper: I'm here to stay.I want a Rebop too I think.

NB1470 would be a 2002 Euro 4 model.
It would have solid maple wings.
the bridge would be zinc brass alloy.

IMHO, you cant go wrong by putting a 9V USA Circuit in it.

I doubt many people would be able to pick out the differences of the tone between a solid maple Euro with a 9V USA Circuit and a Kramer era NS-2

But at the same time, a Kramer era NS-2. has that "MoJo"
