Hey Guys, I apologize for the brief Spectorus-Interruptus, but I have a quick rack mount question.

Is it better to have a power conditioner or just a nice surge protector?

I just bought a new pre/power amp setup and now I'm debating whether to get a 3 or 4 space rack!

Any input would be awesome!

This one of the NEW Coda 5 DLX with flame maple top!!! A great price!!! That's a G discount!
Sorry about the repost! But someone should buy this! If I didn't have mine ordered and almost finished I'd buy it in a heart beat! I believe JPS took pix of this one??? JPS...

I'll take care of it :)

Or if JPS has the new super edited version, he'll put that up, but as far as I'm concernned, we put that up at the beginning of each thread till Chris is healed up and back to life 100%. I love that guy. I've made so many friends since Patrick and Chris talked me into coming on here and you guys are just easily some of the best people on the planet.

And get a power conditioner! :) you won't regret the ease and durability. Costs a bit more but worth if if you're gonna rack up. Check out Carvin's model (nobody groan). For the price it's got excellent specs and the warranty and service are awesome. Plus: USA made. And the features meet or beat most of what Furman's Chinese stuff that's out there.

I need a little help.

I received the Aguilar OBP-2 from smadder and I've borrowed the soldering iron and I'm going to attempt to do my first removal and install of a preamp. The OBP-2 is prewired so, in theory, this should be pretty easy. Then I realize I don't even know how to remove these knobs. LOL Do they just pull off?

Is there a video or resource anyone uses when doing one of these projects to guide you through it?

Thanks!

funny you mention Carvin, because I am on their website right now looking at power amps and road cases! :)

...Carvin might get a big purchase from me today! LOL! :hiding:
