I love the euro!! I bought the stingray on a whim because I couldn't find a euro at the time, and I like it a lot, but I play my Spector almost exclusively. It's clear to me that I just can't own another bass because I'll always be wanting another Spector lol!

Not a problem with me, just gotta find the right euro to pop up once the stingray sells and ill be set :bassist:

Ahh I misread your post - you're looking to trade the SR5 LOL. That makes more sense. :)

Actually, they're nothing compared to the top half of Jamie's matte black Euro 4 LX. The flame on it is Forte quality figuring. It's stunning to look at. My two matte tops have that kind of loose and wide figuring that looks different depending on angle and light, but Jamie's flame top is insane.

Is it a Euro4LX Classic? I'm absolutely willing to go used, and upgrade pups / preamp if necessary. I'm basically drooling over the sound of the NS2, but the entry price is likely too steep. I'd preferably want to keep it around 1500.00, but I don't even know if that's possible. Any info would be fantastic, thanks!

There's a huge array of awesome used and new Spectors for $1500. Checkout the classified here, and Guitar Center used Spector bass section. On GC there's a slew of Euro LXs, ReBops, NS-2As, Legends, an occasional NS-2 JAR or other USA Spectors. Check out www.spectorbass.com , they have price list on the site also. Good luck!

The signature date is 8/20/12.

Just plugged it in and, wow. All NS-2!! The action is a little lower than I'm used to, but I'm going to try it for a while.

It sounds as good as it looks. Gigging w/it tomorrow night... :bassist:

Wow, I am missing out on a ton of posts here and on FB.
I've been gone on a clinic tour in Alberta and Saskatchewan, driving like a maniac all across the province doing clinics for stores.

I recently started working as a tech rep for Cascade Designs, a Seattle based outdoor gear company (some of you may be familiar with the brand MSR) and the agency here in Alberta brought me out here to do clinics to all the stores that carry our product. So, I teach the staff about stoves, snowshoes, Thermarests, etc.

It's been an absolute hysteria of driving, sometimes 4 to 5 hours a day and on Monday I drive from Edmonton to Saskatoon = 7 hours. And I am not a fan of driving long distances, especially in the Canadian Prairies....FLAT FLAT FALT and straaaaaaaaaaaaaight roads that go on forever.

I miss my Spectors! I went to a few stores here to see if anyone has any and NO LUCK. Nada! One stores that advertises them online only brings them in by order. Damn it.

Well, I am back home on the 14th and I start a Spector marathon!!!

Hope everyone is well, and not driving much ;)
