Just got my new (well she looks new anyway, incredible shape) Spector from diechris!

First impression...upon receiving from UPS..."wow this box is really light".

2nd impression, upon opening HSC.."The silverburst finish is incredible...love the inlay on the fretboard...mmmmm"

3rd impression, upon plugging in a playing..."I'm so F*&ing glad that I finally found a company that cares about neck quality...and a nice fat neck besides, something you can hold onto...and wow, smooth as silk".

Killer tones...and I'm still just discovering the tonality spectrum here...these are definetely quality basses. Very happy!

Here's a pic of the silverburst with 'the girls'...put her in the middle so she'll feel welcome hehe.

HUGE thumbs up. Now back to playing this beauty =)

Thanks again Christian.

I call it the "Spector Ahhhh" moment.
Welcome to the family. That bass first came to me (Christian came to my office here in Los Angeles to pick it up).
It's a great bass. Awesome finish.
Glad its going to someone who will love it.
:D You've had your first taste... I hate to tell you... more Spectors will come. They always do.

Aaaaaand reality is setting in :hiding:

As a first Spector owner...you did well lol

I'm so glad you love it, I definitely do/did!

I can't stress how much I would have kept it if it was not for my current situation

Happy Halloween everyone!!

It's like a druuuug

I went from Korean to Euro to USA in less then 2 years :ninja:

The tone & response on this thing is incredible....so that's what Punch is...finally!

The craftsmanship is just really detailed and unique. Very impressed.

A guitarist friend of mines tried it once and was amazed and said "wow you don't even need to try hard to play it or makeitsound good"

If you solo the pbass pickup and dime the bass and treble you'll get one of the best Pbass tones I've heard :bassist:

Want to see the Source Audio Hot Hand pedal get used with a Spector Euro5LX?

:D

Video by yours truly... awesomeness by Nicki Tedesco.

That was really cool. So that was all the hot hand in the video and no other effects? It was a bit overdriven in the beginning so I was making sure that was the hot hand doing that since it was a cool tone and makes me want to get one :)

Crazy cool!
Hey everyone, if you could take this short survey to help my band decide which of these 2 songs to submit to a local radio contest, I would greatly appreciate it.

PS: 2 completely mastered Defy Tolerance tracks inside :bassist:

I wish I could help you out but when the page loads up on my iPhone Safari, the songs are empty. The titles and bars are there but no songs???

You guys rock, man! I just voted for Ball and Chain as I think its a quicker hit than the other, which might take a few listens for people to fully appreciate it. I personally prefer Get You Nowhere, but I think the other is the best choice for this radio contest.

98 KUPD - My radio station back in the 80s. :bassist:
