AMEN JAmie... well my dad died of Leukemia 3 days before 9/11 and so it has some meaning to me today and felt honored to even have talked to Chris on here. life is short pay it forward.. Rock on Jamie.. and May God bless Chris's family in their hour of need

Hi Spector lovers!
I just got this beast few days ago from factory.
It's factory custom modified Euro 5 LX Alex Webster model (pearl white logo and inlays instead of red ones).

Best playing and sounding Spector I ever had. Setup is perfect!

I'm an Spector endorsee, so special thanx to Jiri from Czech factory for making this bass possible and to PJ for having me onboard.

Cheers!

Very nice - that is one black bass with the ebony! I love my Webster, blood and all. :)

I got a random package about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I opened it up and it was a set of Spector Nickel strings in 45-105's from Chris. My current fave and gauge I use. There was a small sticky note from Chris saying he knew how much I loved them so he sent me a set. That seemingly small but thoughtful gift personifies the type of wonderful human being that man is. "The Don" of the club.

I've been thinking about Chris and what an amazing person he was all day today. How one person could have such a positive impact on so many people - without ever meeting most of them in person - is a testament to the quality individual he was. I hope he's swimming in a sea of beautiful Spector AAAAA quilt right about now!

I arrived home tonight and made sure my wife and kids felt every bit of love I could share, as we just learned how short and precious the time we have here together.

This Spector community is a special place where good people come together and I'm fortunate to be welcomed into it. Peace and good health to you all!

Tony

wow, i really dont know what to say... RIP CHRIS.

we kept hoping to jam and have a get together but could never get it going. we had talked about making it down to Dave Fowler's clinic next tuesday...

my heart goes out to his family.. i can not imagine how hard this must be for them.

im also getting my username changed.. its totally sourced from something else.. but i dont feel right with having it.

going to miss ya Chris!

This really makes me sad. Chris was one of those guys that no matter what kind of mood you were in before you talked with him or got a message from him, it would just cheer you up. He will be missed here on TB and our everyday lives. My prayers go out to his family. May you finally rest in peace Chris!!!!

I created a website with direct PayPal links to donate money which will go directly to the Loe's Paypal Account.

Consider this the official donation page, it has been approved by his wife Andrea and Patrick.

You can also send an email on this page which will be received by his wife Andrea and his sister Chantale.

Even if you can't donate, I am sure they will find comfort with just seeing a message sent to them.

Just sent a donation.

Sam, would you or someone else who doesn't mind, start a new group thread with the first post being a dedication to Chris and including this information?
