Just to add on to Phat’s comment.
When you are using Active EMG Pickups and Preamp circuits they spec that they can be used at 18Vs.
Aguilar in their Preamp diagrams also spec that they can be used at 18Vs.
We know that Active EMG Pickups and a regular newer Tonepump can used at 18Vs.
Remember, Phat has noted that there were older Tonepumps that already had an internal voltage doubler, thus running it with the 18v mod would cause problems.
I don't think its worth the risk to try a Tonepump Jr. with SSD passive pickups to be wired at 18v's

As it happened... Another band cancelled out the night before.
It was a lot of fun playing for a bunch of graduating Seniors...they deserved to have a band playing for their special day.
