OK so upon a friend's recommendation I listened to the new album by a band called Scale the Summit, and wow is it great technical/prog instrumental work.
The bass sits beautifully in their mix and has real growl. Sounds like Spector to me. Anyone in the club fans of these guys, know if it is actually Spector bass in this band? Because if not it should be.
Listened to an older album but the bass didn't sound as growly or punchy, maybe it was a recent addition?
