You have a NS2A too! Nice family! Funny how your UltraViolet changes with the light. Looks darker in that shot. Seeing it always makes me jones for mine. :D

How are the builds going, any dates set yet?

The Ultraviolet (Iris) is purple in this picture, I like how is changes with the environment its in...outside it has the blues popping and inside the purple takes over! You will see what I'm talking about very soon I hope....

Hey guys,

I've given up searching for a used one - so I think I'm going to order a new USA bolt-on 5. I was thinking about asking Stuart to build it with a Maple body instead of Mahogany to get it as close as possible to a NT NS. I would love your opinions on that.

I'd love to upgrade the Aguilar to the US circuit but I have a feeling it might be a pricey upgrade.

Awesome collection my man. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the differences between the Pau and BEM board.

Hey Lee, I hope your feeling better or at least feeling nice with the pain meds! lol

So far the Pau is woody in nature and my hand can grab the notes with a nice bark on this neck and its what made me add this to the collection, still working with it and I'm loving the tones you get from this wood.

The BEM is brighter sounding, loud, and I have to tame it a little because I can be an aggressive player. Todd set this bass up for me after listening to me play all of his basses (I'm a novice and need Patrick to finish his videos to assist me with the action set-up), he set the bridge for me lifting it up just a little so I will stop ringing out the strings...this bass has the DR lo-riders with a hex core which might not be good for me but I will keep them on for now. The neck is fast and on the sliding parts or quick note patterns it rocks!

I really like Todd at the guitar house, he will be able to get you the answers that you need as well as prices on the options your looking at...his number is (918) 835-6959.

He has a passion for these basses and a very nice collection, his knowledge is great and he provides great assistance.

Hope this helps!

My NS-5XL, ordered March 14th, should be ready in November (about), but I can't get an ETA from PJ on the NS-2 (ordered June 13th) due to a shortage of 9v circuits. :hmm:

+1 on Todd!

Hey guys, I have 1 more picture to post from my Western Tour 2013...plus a bonus picture of a little hankie pankie ;) Enjoy!

Thanks man! Glad you're loving them both....I mean, how can you not?

You won't regret it! I can't seem to put my US BO down! :bassist:

like others have said, Todd is my go to guy for custom orders! He always seems to deliver EXACTLY what his customers are looking for!

You might talk with Todd about the 9v circuits, I know he has sold a lot of basses this last month but he might be able to find one for your build....November, might be a good holiday this year!

As some of you may have realized, I just can't ever leave well enough alone!!! :help: I'm just one of those people that likes things to be a little custom or different.

My NS4 just recently had the conversion to black hardware. My Euro 4LX got a complete refinish, black hardware and an Aguilar OBP2.

I just finished doing the hardware switch on my 2 Euro 435LX's. Black hardware onto the natural and gold hardware onto the matte black. I like the way the gold hardware adds a bit of a more classic Spector look to the black one and the I think the black hardware makes the natural one look a little "meaner" and sleek. Still need to restring and set them up. The natural is staying trimpot tonepump but is going to switch to a balance pot instead of 2 volume. The black one is getting an EMG pre or the 18VUS pre, still on the fence as I have both here. I'll take some nice outside pics this weekend when they are all done.

I like the gold on black. Has anyone routed a Euro to fit a U.S. bridge. I have a couple U.S. bridges and thought about doing that but did not know if there were any issues with necks and string spacing to be concerned about. I have a chrome U.S. bridge that would look awesome on my matte black Euro.
