I've had bad experiences lately on ebay, especially with people using "private listings" so there is no record of the other bidders, it always seems like the seller is using others to drive up the price, then offering me the item as a second chance offer for my last bid before I gave up and let the false bidders win.

I've had no proof of course so I can;t file a claim with ebay, but I've been seeing it a lot on ebay lately, and I'm reminded of that with this NS-2A here.

I'm curious about this too... The one Dan Briggs plays has some nice quilt on it, but most of the ns2005s that I see come up for sale are quilt-less. There is the occasional one with some nice wood though.

Most ReBop models used Gotoh style Tuners
There were a few that also had Schaller M4 Style.

What year is your ReBop?
What is the Ser# on the back of the headstock?

NB10711 was made in 2011.
I would say its a Gotoh Style.

There were some in 2009 that used Schaller style

To be sure, you can take out one of the Tuners from your Zebop.

If the piece that goes into the peg hole is 14mm its a Gotoh style. If it is 12mm its a Schaller Style.

So far yeah they've been tapping the DI on the amp. I don't have any other DI unless I throw my RBI in the rack. I should probably carry a DI pedal at least.

May I recommend the EBS Microbass? I use mine every day - it records wonderfully, makes a great headphone amp and with it's two independent/combinable channels & built-in overdrive, it is the most versatile DI & most usable pedal that I own. :bassist:

I use the DI on my 1001rb also, I have the MXR M80 and a passive DI just in case.

Well I got to the bottom of my Performer neck lift issue.

Several of the screws were stripped, so I had them replaced. There was still some considerable neck lift though.

I soon realized that the stock screw used on the basses is too short. So it goes less than 1cm into the neck. I removed the black bobbins that surround the screws in the body, and this has put more of the screw into the neck, and it is holding for now.

I guess my next Performer purchase will be coming with slightly larger length and gauge neck screws as well.
