So...no go on the truss nut extraction. It's in to my luthier. The fretboard needs to be lifted & the rod extracted.$130 later.
Man, things just keep turning out bad for this one!

That is funny. I'm sure there's an explanation for it. PJ just posted a new one on the Spector FB page that was 440 so they seem to be in sequence, but not sure what's different about yours.

Thanks for inspiring the color! I assume this is what yours would like if it were glossed. In person it seems closer to emerald than forest green.
Yeah I had to think about it which is kind of sick. So that's it for US builds this year, and probably for a good long while after. Need to take a nice long trip with the woman next spring - been far too long.
What a year, NS-5XL, NS-6XL, unplanned Coda 5XL and the NS-5MM2 fretless.
I will say, there is possibly another Euro coming in before the end of the year. Something unique.
These are so awesome. I wish I had the cash to buy the gloss black one.

He's got a bit of a backlog, but he said he'd try to get on to it asap. I don't think it will be more than a week or so. So, enough time for my BQC to come in.

Yeah. That's the way I'm looking at it, now. This bass is staying in my arsenal, too. lol I've spent about half as much on upgrades & repairs as I did on the bass initially.
Nope. Those things seem cool, but if I was going to do something like that it would have to be a 10-string of course. Nothing quite that exotic, but will be cool nonetheless. I still have a soft spot for Euros.
