This baby is on the way to me as we speak.There was some talk in the last part about a few guys wanting to try chrome hardware.Well if anybody has black schaller tuners and a bridge on their euro and wants to swap it for some chrome,hit me up,i should have it by the end of next week.

In with an updated (sort of) family pic! Left out the NS-X because I'm not setting it down on wet snow/deck and it doesnt really fit on a stand.

edit: anyone with a Teal NS-2A know how to photograph the actual color? It ALWAYS looks blue in all pictures taken inside and out, but in real life its a very greenish teal.

Thanks... Yeah, the chrome hardware was the "Pièce de résistance". I had ordered black but about a week later I changed my mind. I want to again thank Todd and PJ for making that happen for me. Stuart is resistant to changes in orders once placed, but those guys got it done!

Oh and BTW... Old guys DO rule!

Nice family. I especially like the single inlay at the 12th fret. I think I'll do that on my next build.

But I am actually digging the fully passive mode better.

My first bass with a maple board and passive pickups since I was a teen.

PJ said it was spec'd as "Blue" so its not really a Bahama Blue.

It's hard to get the exact color photographed. It's sorta in-between the group photo and the studio photo below.

Very pleased with the Natural Growl. Still getting acclimated with the non NS body. But I am surprisingly very impressed.

Will post some sound clips soon.

You sure you want to do that bro? That bass is pretty sweet as it is. The chrome is pretty rare. It would look good either way though.....

What are your plans for the rebop?

it started off as a natural oil finish.. I am getting the grain darkened somewhat with dark grainfiller and then a yellowish type stain and tong oil on top of that.. its alder wood

Sweet bass and I loves me some chrome, but I will say I like the black hardware on my NS2A pictured above. That said yours will look awesome either way.

Oh i am sure,i am just not a huge fan of chrome or gold.I may however just buy a bridge and tuners in black and keep the chrome.That way i can switch the hardware back and forth whenever i get the urge to buy a new bass.
