Congrats Sam, i only listened through my laptop speakers but the passive is a bit rounder sounding. I'm sure you said it but does it have the Aggie pups too?

There are two different versions of the Ryche, one with Geoff Tate and a different backing band - including Rudy Sarzo on bass, and the other which is most of the original band members with a different vocalist. Both would be a lot of fun to see live

Rudy might not have THE tone we all love from GT but he is playing a Spector and is killer live.

But I am actually digging the fully passive mode better.

My first bass with a maple board and passive pickups since I was a teen.

PJ said it was spec'd as "Blue" so its not really a Bahama Blue.

It's hard to get the exact color photographed. It's sorta in-between the group photo and the studio photo below.

Very pleased with the Natural Growl. Still getting acclimated with the non NS body. But I am surprisingly very impressed.

Will post some sound clips soon.

Oh i am sure,i am just not a huge fan of chrome or gold.I may however just buy a bridge and tuners in black and keep the chrome.That way i can switch the hardware back and forth whenever i get the urge to buy a new bass.

That's what I would do. That's such a rare bass, I think the hardware should stay with it.

Jamming some of the newest Tesseract stuff with my Blue Euro 5LX and the OBP-3 finger style and this bass is just so punchy. I was planning on throwing a Tonepump or USA 9V (when available) in my Green Euro eventually but I actually might go with an OBP-3 if I don't dig the OBP-1 thats supposedly in it now.

What a gorgeous finish! I suggest you call it "loophole blue", as Bahama Blue carries an upcharge these days, and you got a beautiful blue Coda without having to pay the "Bahama fee".

Great shots NOLA. Just how nervous were you during your sons shot? My kids are just a tad younger and I let them hold my basses. But my basses are a Legend 5 and a NS2A........Great basses don't get me wrong, but yours is on a whole other level......Once again great shots....

I'm playing in a 4 pieces Thrash metal band, thinking about getting another Spector, 4 stringer for recording stuffs, as the budget is very limit. What should i go between the Spector NS2A and a Rebop (the rebop is a little bit pricier but not much than the NS2A on used market, right ?). Thanks in advance.
