I played an older Euro today. I think it was one of the transition years, but I'm not sure. It had dots on the neck. Anyway, it seemed a little heavy compared to my NS2A. Is that a normal weight for those years? Just wondering......
that is normal, a transition year Euro has a brass bridge.
Just saw this on ebay. I didn't realize you could get a 35" US 4 string???

ya you can't... that is the reason guys like Robbie Merril play Euros

Thanks Iceboxbass, do you mean like here

BINGO! You got it! Your welcome :)

OK, now she's exactly like I wanted!! Black hardware with a little bling! Gold saddles from the original bridge. Hipshot De-tuner on the E string!! This should be the last version of this bass!!

So should I be expecting my 01 Euro 5 to be a little heavier then my Euro 5LX? Not a huge deal, but I may have to get a better balanced strap if that's the case.

The gold saddles look really cool. I still really wish I had a Spector with a maple board but I know I'll make it happen some day! Nice bass! :bassist:

Thanks man! She plays wonderfully!! These are all the things I wanted in a bass except I was looking for an ebony board. PJ found her for me and I swapped out the gold for black. The maple board has really grown on me!!
