I'm really curious to play the Legend as is. Then, when I get the neck installed, I have some serious woodshedding to do.![]()
I understand, when I first got mine I found that I had to learn the fretless songs all over again! lol

First fretless?

Have to talk to the guys and see what we want to learn, and maybe pick a song or two we do already know and just play the fretless on it anyway.ok, you guys with the two UV Spectors need not to converse with each other, because I get confused who'se talking....carry on.....
Yup! Well... First one I'm going to play. I've owned two others in the last 25 years but I just picked them up, played a few notes and sold them. I'm now ready to really give it a try.
That's why I'm taking this route. This will cost less than buying a new fretless Legend. If it works out, maybe I'll move up to a fretless Euro. Who knows, maybe I'll just upgrade the pups and pre on this and call it good. We'll just wait and see.
That's kind of a problem because we don't play any fretless songs.Have to talk to the guys and see what we want to learn, and maybe pick a song or two we do already know and just play the fretless on it anyway.

Post a LARGE pic of the cavity so we can see what, where, and how you soldered.I have a question for the technically savvy folks:
I replaced the Tonepump vs. a trim Tonepump on my Euro LX. After the swap the bass distorts a bit, the lows seem to fart out. Not much, but enough to be noticeable, and it is quite prominent if i turn up the bass control. The Bass seems overall weaker, not so punchy and growly like it was before. Volume is not the problem. I tried this with a preamp set very low in volume before going into the Interface, its the same problem.
I guess i soldered something not right. Has anyone an idea what to do?
So, safe to say the "least" of all Spector basses, correct?
