Ok, after much deliberation I want to ditch the tone pump in my euro NS2. I'm thinking Aguilar OBP3 (I want some mid control). I don't want to modify the bass in any way, so the dual shaft pot would need to fit in the stock drilled hole. So, I defer to the experienced here… any thoughts/ input would be most appreciated!

Since the OBP-3 has 2 stacked knobs, it is possible you will have to widen the pot holes for those knobs. When I took the Tonepump out of my Euro 5LX when I had it, I swapped it with a BQC and the pot holes for the 2 stacked knobs had to be widened. A reamer handled it quickly and easily though so it wasn't a big deal at all.

Oh great!! These NAMM fotos are fueling my S.A.S.!! I've been pondering a 2 J pup Spector and now the pressure is so great to actually have one, it's killin' me!!

My only question is is it a Coda or a Euro 2 J pup bass that I want???

It's sycamore (maple) over 100 year old water cured Redwood. Pretty sure the bridge is aluminum hence the lower weight.

Sycamore/Redwood. Nobody knows which is the top and which is the back though

Too brown for my taste. I do like the Redwood winged models, though. Personally, I think I'd still want a trans-white or slate grey.
