HAHA...Thanks for understanding...I can't afford the NS4 that I was GASing for and I just want an Essence again...MAN I had no idea I'd take so much **** for ebay listing...

If anything it is just because we are overprotective of our family. We have had some sour apples in the past, but you do not seem to be someone like that.

I wish I could afford the bass, I own 2 of Joe's other basses and love them both. Keep your chin up and don't worry too much about us... we like to talk

Ho even said to me, John if you want an Alembic don't buy this bass or any other...He felt that I was a little hesitant about the sale....But I really do love the bass....I just should of waited for exactly what I wanted, which unfortunately for this club is an Alembic....It's weird cause I'm 40 yrs old and I always dreamed of a Spector, but Essence just really always felt great with me

I had no idea what an Alembic Essence was before reading this. I looked one up.

It kind of reminds me of a Spector NS-4 mated with a Warwick Fortress.

I just read older posts....and I feel like an ass...I had no idea that looked so bad...I'm new to ebay and I hate it already, fees 10% paypal 3% too, crazy...But I paid $1950 from Ho and drove 2.5 hours to meet Ho and save him money on shipping AND to guarantee my bass would be safe! I paid $180 for brand new case Fri so $2100 or BO is fair I think....The Spalted Maple NS4 is just too much and my wife essentially got Ho's bass for me for my BDAY so now everyone including her thinks I'm an ass! Sorry Spector club....P.S I really love alembics so I decided to just try and trade for one or wait.....USED, not new.....

I would like to see both the #3 Black Cherry and #4 Blue Coda P-basses pictured together!

Now that they have the 1.62" nut width for the coda I wonder if someone can order the other pickup options (single P, the P and J, or the double J)?
