I've seen very few Spectors with this Cherryburst finish, which is why I'm so hesitant to sell, but I've got something like 18 basses (6 Spectors) which is way too many and I need to clear house and sell a bunch of them.

It's got dual EMG-Hz humbuckers with an EMG BTS preamp modded to 18v, 'fake' decal crown inlays over the dots, and as I mentioned, neck through 35" scale.

PM me for additional details and more pictures, I'd like it to go to a club member so I'm not putting up a for sale thread quite yet.

I will be shipping it in an old Spector case that either never had the logo on it or it was worn off (kinda weird), but the outside of the case is identical to the one my Euro came in, except for the logo, might have been around the time Stuart was trying to get the trademark back.

I figured used Fortes with the OBP-2 go for about $1800, so one with a HAZ, which are near impossible to get, was worth the asking price/ club price. I thought he was very happy with the bass, but he then texted me to say that he saw an NS-4 that he just had to have, and of his intention to sell the Tangerine Forte on ebay for more than what he paid for it. Fully understanding Spector GAS, I told him no worries, good luck. It's not something I would do. But that's just me. If he gets his dream Spector out of the deal then that's a great thing :). I've been more than blessed in owning some beautiful Spectors, and in a couple of weeks I will own another and the Spector arsenal will be, once again, complete. NS-2 with J/J pickups, HAZ and Badass bridge. Custom Euro-4 P/J pickups with HAZ. And a Brooklyn style Walnut NS-2. That puts it into perspective for me. Sandwich, I ain't mad at ya baby!

I have it listed here for $2100 OBO just like HO offered me...and the extra is only because I just bought brand new case Friday....I would never rip anyone off....Ebay is a whole different world...Only cause of fees and paypal fees is why I raised price ....but I have it at Best offer too, not just straight sale!

Never sold anything on ebay but i hear their fees are high.

I just read older posts....and I feel like an ass...I had no idea that looked so bad...I'm new to ebay and I hate it already, fees 10% paypal 3% too, crazy...But I paid $1950 from Ho and drove 2.5 hours to meet Ho and save him money on shipping AND to guarantee my bass would be safe! I paid $180 for brand new case Fri so $2100 or BO is fair I think....The Spalted Maple NS4 is just too much and my wife essentially got Ho's bass for me for my BDAY so now everyone including her thinks I'm an ass! Sorry Spector club....P.S I really love alembics so I decided to just try and trade for one or wait.....USED, not new.....

It's OK man. Sometimes things just work out in a weird way.
