Yeah, You need to check out the Coda P-Bass Michael...I need help naming it (Iris is named after a violet color and Scarlett is after its color as well....now I need a cool name for the Blue Burst color), I was hoping to have it for the shows that are booked the next three weekends!

I met him when he was playing with Whitesnake when they opened for Motley Crue and got on the tour bus with him for about 20 minutes when i was just starting out on bass and he really was the coolest to talk to for sure

Because of my sidekick tonight, I got close. LOL. And yes, he confirmed he loooooved the ForteSS.
Rudy's tone tonight was insane, crushingly good. His EuroLX was dominating the mix as it should with the QR stuff. They are doing the 25 year anny of Operation Mindcrime so they did the album from front to back with Jet City Woman, Silent Lucidity and Empire as encores. Just a great show and Rudy was a super cool dude to talk to after the show. Very laid back and we just talked gear. He's a bass player's bass player in every way. It was so great to finally meet one of my biggest influences growing up. Love that guy!

My guess is additional paint prep & clean time. You can't shoot another colour without first cleaning out the guns and tanks and booth to avoid bits of different colours getting mixed in. Time = Money.

I'd still like to see something like a Forte 4/5/6 Special Edition run from time to time. I think if they made small runs of different colors (matte finish) on the Forte line each year or so, it would be a pretty big hit! I know I'd try to snag one!

Jamming on my Axe Fx some this morning. Love this thing! I also love my old all USA equipped Ns2a!!! Here is a quick run from this morning using a dirty Ampeg tone.

Hi Guys! I'm new to this whole Spector thing, but to say I have been bitten by the spector tone would be an understatement. I recently saw a band playing, and while the bassist's tone with a Fender Aerodyne was good and solid, when he put down the Fender and played what turned out to be a Euro5lx-tw, I was floored. I still have not found a 4lx-tw, but I did find this, a Euro lx4, or so says Guitar Center.
However, I have some questions. I was told all Euro LX series have the Tonepump, but this one has this EMG setup.
It sounds great, but is this the original preamp? The pots have a date of 2004 on them.
The back of the headstock is smudged and smeared under the clear. Very odd for a company as quality conscience as Spector. I can't really make out the serial number.
It also has white spots under the clear. the clear is perfectly smooth and shiny on thop of these spots.
The dent on the bottom was from the person who packed it into the box.
All in all, I think this bass is a keeper, but I assume it is a factory blemish.
Price was $1200
Price will be reduced because of the packing dent, but if it was a factory blem, should it be less?
Anyway, I am still looking for a Euro4LX-TW.

From what I see on your photos the serial number is NB0040 The newer Euros start with NB at the beginning of the serial numbers. That's a pretty early transition one. That was a fair price, IMO. Great name!
